Dent-a-Cav is a temporary close-up material, which is delivered as a ready-to-use paste, in white or pink. Dent-a-Cav adheres to enamel and dentin, shows a very good marginal fit, and can be easily removed with a probe. Dent-a-Cav contains zinc oxide and therefore has an anti-bacterial effect. Dent-a-Cav is gentle to the pulp and the gingiva. Also, thanks to its resistance against chewing pressure, Dent-a-Cav allows for a safe close-up. And, as it contains no eugenol, Dent-a-Cav does not impede subsequent composite fillings. The material cures within 3 min. inside the cavity.
